Pastor's Heart

“For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure.” Phil 2:13

It has been God's will to bring us from an attic to what we see today.
It is His reward for those who diligently seek Him. He has put into our hands a great  and mighty work and has called us to be stewards of this work. Now, ahead of us, we have a great challenge to develop what G
od has provided for us. I believe there are four essentials for successful building and ministry as we go forward:
Maintain the Vision: Everything that God has put into our hands are  vehicles to minister, first to Christ, then to His body and to the lost  and hurting, through worshipping, evangelism and nurturing. (Discipleship)
Faithful Stewardship: Trustworthy action by utilizing our existing facilities. Because we have been faithful in using them, God chose to give us more. Therefore, we must continue to maximize what God has put unto our hands.
Prayerful Planning: (The Motivation for our expansion): Our desire is to fulfill God's Word to us by expanding our educational facilities in order to offer more classes for the development of the whole man. Our plans are to expand the existing ministries and birth new ministries as God enables us, developing them to be effective in God's kingdom.
Wise Administration: Harnessing our resources as we dedicate all of our gifts, talents and skills, to achieving our God-given goal (which is to honor God in all things that we do). As we pool our resources and talents to finish this building, we are also using our skills and talents to complete the camp.
We want to challenge all of our members and friends to support this development and expansion, through giving of tithes, special offerings and pledges. Help us fulfill God's vision in this house for our children, and our children's children. Let us face these challenges together and let God, because of our faithfulness to His Word, open the windows of heaven upon us.

"Thank God for what He has already done for us,

but we know that the best is yet to come!"

To Him that is faithful to His Word,

Thought for the Week
"And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.  He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. "
